Soy Based Ink

Soy ink is a unique type of ink that uses soybean oil as its main solvent to carry pigment. Compared to traditional petroleum-based ink, soy-based ink is considered more environmentally friendly. Although soybean oil is safe for consumption, soy ink is not edible due to the presence of pigments and additives. Soy ink plays an important role in paper recycling because it can be removed more easily than regular ink from paper during the de-inking process. This makes it an eco-friendlier alternative to traditional inks.
