What is the corrugated board? What board will be used for my mailer box?

The Corrugated board typically comprises three parts/layers: the fluted(grooved) sheet as its medium layer, on the medium layer, both sides glued with different grade liner board as its first and third layer. The linerboards of both sides will vary based on the box's different uses and the clients' demands. The kraft liner usually provides better protection during transit, and the white liner board is generally used for printing exquisite artwork. The grammage of the linerboard typically comes with 120gsm,140gsm, 170gsm, 200gsm, 230gsm, 250gsm, 300gsm. By default, the mailer box of cefBox is applied with the material of 300gsm, providing extra protection.

Based on the sizes of the applied fluted(corrugated) sheets, grooved boards are designated as "A," "B," "C," "E," and "F" or micro flute. CefBox typically uses an E-flute or F-flute for custom printing mailer boxes. An e-flute with 90+/-4 flutes per foot and a 1.8 mm final thickness produces the mailer box with a single side fully printed by default in cefBox. F-flute, 125+/-4 flutes per foot, and a 1.6mm final thickness are used for the mailer box of double sides, which is fully printed by default.

Is a mailer box easy to assemble?

Fold the pre-scored lines towards the interior.
Fold up the front and back flaps.
Bring up the side walls of the box. Tuck them inside and snap into place.
Your mailer box now is now ready to use.

When will I receive my mailers?

Our standard production time is 10-12 days. Expedited production takes 6-8 days while a sample is produced in 3-5 business days. This does not include holidays, weekends, and transit time.

How do I request a printed samples or a blank Prototype box?

Accepted Answer

We provide sample services. There are a few options available for your choice.

1. Prototype sample. It is ideal for verifying the compatibility of your box.

2. Digital sample. Using a digital printer to produce a box on your specific artwork quickly. It's ideal for you to get a feeling before mass production.

3. Production sample. It is produced strictly on the term of mass production. An offset printer will be used to have one sample. Although that will make a significant cost, it is the same as the outcome of mass production.

4. Sample kits. It’s ideal for seeing our production quality.

5. Digital print proof. A quick and cost-effective way to see the colors before bulk production.

6. Press print proof. Although that will make a significant cost, it is the same as the outcome of mass production.

How long does shipping take?

DHL or FedEx: 3-5 days. Air freight: 7-10 days. Ocean freight: 26-71 days. If you need some packaging expedited earlier, consider splitting your shipment between air and ocean!

What format should I provide my artwork to you in?

Please send us your artwork in PDF or AI format that can be edited in Adobe Illustrator. Please keep the template as a separate layer in your AI file. Once we get the file, our in-house designer will review and adapt it for production. The production-ready file will send back for your approval.

Can I ship a mailer box without using any other external packaging?

Our corrugated mailer boxes are designed to be ready to go and can protect generic items from being damaged even in harsh transporting conditions. However, if the items you want to mail are fragile, using packaging inserts or dividers together is strongly recommended.
